Northeast Center for Special Care Honored to
Fly POW-MIA Flag
Lake Katrine, NY, May 24, 2007 --
Northeast Center for Special Care is
privileged to announce that on Thursday, May 31, 2007, we will have the
honor of receiving the POW-MIA flag from our local American Legion. In a
special ceremony, this flag will be presented by American Legion
Representative, Harold Rosenkranse and raised below our American Flag at
the main entrance.
The ceremony will be attended by our Resident-Veterans, our
Staff-Veterans, and esteemed members of our local community. Mr.
Rosenkranse will honor and recognize all veterans in attendance for their
service and sacrifice in defense of freedom. Religious leaders from our
community will share reverent words in tribute to our dedicated veteran
and active servicemen and women. We extend thanks to our local American
Legion who, since we opened in 1999, has been a loyal partner in
celebrating the brave veteran members of our armed forces who are part of
our Northeast Center family.
