Behavior Tech/Residential Specialist

We are currently hiring a Full Time Behavior Tech/Residential Specialist for our 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift:

Responsibilities:

* Participate in the care of Residents-Neighbors throughout shift, including assist with neighbor participation in daily activities
* Provide safety and comfort to our Resident-Neighbors, including 1:1 monitoring through Close Visual Observation (CVO) and Increased Supervision (15 minutes checks) when necessary
* Record, document and analyze Resident-Neighbor’s behavioral episodes
* When necessary, intervene during challenging behaviors, including calling the proper code in a timely manner
* In the absence of the Receptionist, may be asked to assist with front desk coverage

Requirements:
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
* Must have prior experience in healthcare (Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) patients preferred)
* Able to maintain professional demeanor and attitude at all times, including crisis situations
* Need to be dependable, adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to handle confidential information
* Must be able to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed
