    Physical Therapy Assistants PTA
We are currently seeking licensed Physical Therapy Assistants to work in a progressive, exciting, and innovative work environment that is dedicated to neurorehabilitation  for individuals with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, CVA, respiratory rehabilitation and vent care and weaning.

We are a therapeutic community and rehabilitation program with two hundred and eighty Resident-Neighbors and a mission of community reintegration.

Job responsibilities will include providing direct evaluation and treatment to persons with a wide range of physical and functional mobility impairments.  Our prime candidate
will become a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and develop unique individual treatment plans.

Our PTA's enjoy the same opportunities as our Physical Therapists to use their skills and gifts in assisting our Resident-Neighbors to return to the community.

    Physical Therapist  PT -  APTA Board Certification in Neurological Physical Therapy
We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work in a progressive, exciting, and innovative work environment that is dedicated to neurorehabilitation.   Our Physical Therapists are motivated by our mission of rehabilitation, recovery and community reentry.  This position requires a Physical Therapist who has a Board Certification in Neurological Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association.

Job responsibilities will include providing direct patient evaluation to persons with a wide range of functional mobility impairments.  You will provide treatment to persons with cognitive, physical and other multiple impairments.  You will work with
persons who have 
traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, CVA, spinal cord injury (SCI), respiratory rehabilitation and ventilator care and weaning. 
Our prime candidate will become a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and develop unique individual treatment plans.

You will work in a state-of-art facility with three well-equipped rehab gyms with the latest Infinity WalkAbout
® figure eight railing system.

    Occupational Therapist  OTR  -  Neuro-Developmental Treatment Certification
We are currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to work in our rehabilitation programs.  Our programs push the envelope of rehabilitation to assist people with cognitive and physical impairments to acquire the skills they need to move onto integrated community settings.  This position requires an Occupational Therapist who has a Neuro-Developmental Treatment Certification from the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association.

Our programs that do more than simulate real life - they are real life in our therapeutic community setting. The Occupational Therapist is involved in these innovative programs focused on community living skills, prevocational training and life planning.  You will work with persons who have traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, CVA, spinal cord injury (SCI), respiratory rehabilitation and ventilator care and weaning.  Our prime candidate will become a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and develop unique individual treatment plans.

Job responsibilities will include direct evaluation and treatment to persons with a wide range of functional mobility impairments.  Our rehabilitation programs are focused on helping people to move to the most integrated setting and our OTR's work in a variety of program settings including our Neurorehabilitation Intensive Program, our ventilator program and our prevocational programs.  Treatment is performed in our well-equipped therapy gyms as well as  real-life settings including a fully functional, accessible independent living apartment.  Our prime candidate will become a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and develop unique individual treatment plans.

Northeast Center for Special Care is located in Lake Katrine, NY on a picturesque thirty-nine acre campus.  We are ninety miles north of New York City and sixty miles south of Albany.  Our Center is minutes from the New York State Thruway, and the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge.  We are adjacent to RT 9W.
