and Long term care setting, leadership, supervisory, or
teaching position experience a must. Ability to make
decisions with good nursing judgment, handles
emergencies, maintains excellent patient assessment
skills with current BLS. Must have good communication
and management skills.

Ensures that high quality nursing care is delivered in an efficient and effective manner
by: Rendering professional nursing care to our Resident-Neighbors within an assigned unit,
performing nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the resident neighbors,
administer prescribed medication, provides treatments using therapeutic equipment,
observes reactions to medications and treatments, changes dressings and cleans
wounds or incisions, takes vital signs, maintains resident neighbors
medical records on nursing observations and actions take, records nursing needs of residents on care plan
to assure continuity of care and maintains safety, order and patient care. Qualifications
include a current license for New York State OR a graduate of an accredited school of
nursing.
