Language Pathologist SLP
The
speech language pathologist identifies problem areas of
comprehension, attention, memory (recent and past), language skills,
writing skills and reading skills.
The information gathered by the speech pathologist is
valuable to other team members; for example, whether or not to use
reading as a means of communicating information to the patient.
The speech therapist provides instruction and practice in
improving skills in comprehension and communication.
