Orientation Situational

The ability to accurately describe present circumstances.  For example, in the acute stages of injury, brain-injured patients may be unable to respond accurately to questions such as, “Why are you in the hospital?”  Situational disorientation is commonly observed during the period of post-traumatic amnesia (PTA).
