Portraiture is among the concentrations that have captured Mardi’s
interest. Periodically she paints people who work with her at Northeast Center
as she did with this painting of Diane, an Art Therapist in training. Her bold, frontal
depiction is heightened by the strong turquoise background which matches
Diane’s eyes.
