"Thorns Among the Beauty" 18" x 24" 2005
By Paulette B.
Paulette
B.
always loved art as a child, “coloring inside the lines and shading
with crayons even at a very young age.”
She was an art major in college and helped to run a ceramics
studio.
As a daily participant in the Art Studio, Paulette has rebuilt her sense
of self worth. She loves
and needs art to express her emotions and achieve a state of balance and
optimism. She works meticulously on drawings and paintings charged with
very particular symbolism.
Paulette also works with a natural facility on landscape painting and
abstract imagery using inventive ideas and techniques. She is a highly
competent artist who works with enormous patience to render each detail
perfectly. This acrylic painting developed slowly. It embodies both
Paulette’s vision and her artistic aptitude.
