Elizabeth came to Northeast Center with numerous medical challenges, and that has instilled an appreciation for dimensions that give her life meaning. As a child she enjoyed drawing, painting, carpentry and ceramics. She received no formal art training. Over the years she enjoyed arts and crafts of various kinds that boosted her self-esteem. The Northeast Center Art Studio is an experience that opened new
doorways for Elizabeth; gradually she became engaged in the fine arts
and participates regularly. She feels more whole through her love of
art, dreams and finds herself wondering where making art will take her
creatively. Her images are meticulously developed, highly detailed,
charming stories. Elizabeth likes to exhibit her art so others can enjoy
the pleasure it brings her.
