"Prance on the Farm" 16" x 20" 2007
By Kim S.
Kim. S. is a woman in her mid-forties who has always loved arts and
crafts such as knitting, crocheting, needlework and ceramics. At
Northeast Center she likes working in the Fine Arts Program where she
became involved with drawing, painting and clay sculpture.
Kim loves to depict animals in nature, particularly horses that she rode
as a child. During 2007 she created a series of ‘four
season’s paintings’
for an exhibition of works by Northeast Center artists. Coming to the
Art Studio is a daily practice that Kim finds meaningful.
