By age 20 Wendy was an accomplished artist, drawing and painting portraits, animals and landscapes - art is important in her life. Wendy came to Northeast Center as a result of a brain stem stroke. From her struggle are the seeds for the most magnificent, soulful and
still accomplished art. Wendy's
journey, to accept her present, epitomizes the reshaping of identity and
purpose for those touched by traumatic brain injury.
