Because
brain injury challenges the mind, the body, and the spirit, a truly
unique and uniquely effective program has been designed at the
Northeast Center for Special care to restore physical and cognitive
abilities, emotional adjustment, and spiritual well-being.
The ultimate goal of treatment is not just a return to the Community
but mastery of a style of living that maintains the gains made in
therapy and promotes mental and physical health and a positive,
hopeful outlook that continue to grow throughout a life time.
Up to 280
residents, nearly 500 staff, and countless visitors bring the
Northeast Center to life in an environment that visitors routinely
describe as "cheerful," "uplifting," and
"full of hope." The Northeast Center's programs feature
